In 1972 the idea of opening such a bank was first conceived by few visionaries, reputed persons who got the credit to be the pioneers & with their active endeavours the bank was established on 15th May 1972. The bank was inaugurated by honourable Late Shree H. M. Patel, honorable ex finance minister of the center and President of CVM. It started with 366 members &share capital of Rs.69,0000/- only.
